My younger brother discovered my blog by accident. Hehehe….
I hope he has a nice time reading my entries.
He could be my worst critic or my best alliance.
To you, M, it would be good to start blogging.
Welcome to my world!

Advantages:
1. I get to practice my business administration skill.
2. I get to travel to places to look for potential customers.
3. I have more time to bond with Miel.
4. It feels good to see your product on the market.
5. It feels good to provide employment to those who are unemployed. (Miel is a generous employer, mind you!)Disadvantages:
1. This start up stage is sucking out all our energies.
2. Start up stage is the most difficult, financially speaking.
3. There would be people who would try to pull you down. Keber!
4. Less time to bond with kids. Buti na lang may KFC!Money. Money. Money.
Our goal is simple: We want financial independence because we want to help more people. -
With Adi’s eight baby teeth, he needs to brush his teeth as regular as adults are doing. It’s quite a challenge to brush a 14-month old’s teeth and he doesn’t like the taste of kiddie toothpaste.
Dr. Anna suggested to change his toothbrush and toothpaste because hard bristles and strong flavor might be the reasons why a baby won’t brush his teeth. I checked his musical toothbrush and pressed the bristles. True, it was hard and it probably hurt his gums.
I brought Adi to the grocery and showed him a variety of Oral B toothbrush. He picked the orange toothbrush, it was made of rubber so it wouldn’t slip when wet. Dr. Anna said that Adi could use Xylogel as toothpaste instead of a kiddie toothpaste.
As soon as we got home, I tried brushing Adi’s teeth with Oral B and my little one just loved it! Oral B’s bristles are soft and ideal for babies. When it comes to toothbrush, you’ll never have a hard time brushing your kid’s teeth with Oral B.;)

I found this old article about Jinkee Pacquiao. So little is published about her personal life and I hope to see more articles about her minus her being a wife to Manny Pacquaio.
Jinkee was most controversial when Manny was linked with Ara Mina and Krista Ranillo. She got the public’s sympathy when she decided to keep her marriage and not allow anybody to ruin it.
Jinkee’s taste in luxury bags and clothes was at one time, a subject of debate among bloggers. Is it wrong to buy expensive things and flaunt it? For as long as the Pacquiaos give back or share their blessings, I don’t care if Jinkee is buying a truckload of Hermes or Fendi everyday!
Her being a Belo endorser was her biggest break; it was Jinkee trying to shift from being a pretty wife of a champion boxer to being a celebrity.
I hope to see more independence and empowerment on Jinkee. She’s smart, pretty and intelligent. She can always shine on her own.

With the unstable condition of our economy, Miel and I decided to invest our money in a small business. Miel is more of a gambler than me; it follows that it was he who swayed me into taking most of our savings from the bank and start a chicharon manufacturing business.
Okay, I am familiar with benefit-cost studies as it is what I exactly do in my current employment. So it clearly, my role from the start would be that of a financial consultant. I also act the role of a business strategist while Miel takes care of the operations.
I didn’t expect that putting up a small kitchen with adobe furnace would cost us that much. Much more, I didn’t expect that our workers needed more guidance from us as they came from a leading chicharon maker. They rejected a sack full of imported pork skin and good thing, I didn’t raise hell about it. Instead, I took it as a non-verbal message that our workers needed us during our operations.
I take pride of our chicharon. Crunchy, tasty and affordable. I so love the backfat dipped in vinegar. Yum yum!
Next concern is our marketing. We have two regular customers who supply the Metro Manila and Quezon province area. We are not profiting from them much as our pork skin (raw material) price is high and we maintain the competitor’s price. Miel and I are into searching of a lower priced pork skin with the same quality; we cannot compromise quality at this start up stage.
We accept wholesale and retail order in as far as Isabela, Nueva Ecija and Bataan. We’re just starting and so far, we can see that our small business is promising.
Distributors are most welcome. Any takers? 🙂

Some women are just drawn to wear high heels. And why not, it’s chic, trendy and sexy; never mind if one gets tired legs or aching heels. Corporate or office girls are the usual fanatic of stilletos. I wonder how they beat the time during rush hours when the lift is full and they have to resort to using the stairs on their way to their office floor.
I used to have gold stilletos that I used at the wedding of my friend. It took me a month to learn how to wear it and walk effortlessly. The stilletos made me taller by three inches and it was just the perfect shoes for my gown. After the wedding, I gave away those gold stilletos because I knew that I would never be comfortable wearing those.
I love flat shoes because I feel like I’m just wearing a pair of slippers. The comfort of flats is undeniable specially if you’re a busy careerwoman who’s always on the go. My green flats is a hand-me-down from my sister-in-law. It’s true that your thrash could be another person’s treasure because her green flats are just too fashionable and comfortable; things that she never appreciated when she was still the owner.

Need I say more?
I am just too happy that one of my favorite celebrities brought home another victory and pride for the country.
Congratulations, Congressman Pacquio!
